PSA blood test results review/consultation

PSA, or Prostate Specific Antigen, is an enzyme made by the prostate. It is present in low levels in all men (except those who have had their prostate removed!). Elevated levels of PSA in the blood are found in benign prostate enlargement, prostate inflammation & in prostate cancer. It can be difficult to distinguish between these causes without specialist knowledge or skills.
